Puff pastry turnovers ingredients

Here is the complete list of all ingredients needed for this recipe. For precise measurements, please look at the recipe card.
  • Puff Pastry: My favorite puff pastry is the Pepperidge Farm Puff Pastry Sheets. Whether you make a sweet or savory recipe, this pastry is so great. It's flaky and yummy.
  • Cream Cheese: The cream cheese gives it that nice creaminess, and it has a delicious flavor.
  • Mozzarella Cheese: Mozzarella cheese is one of my favorite cheeses.
  • Quesadilla Cheese: Quesadilla cheese is another cheese that I use often. It goes very well with mozzarella cheese.
  • Smoked Uncured Ham: I used the combination of smoked uncured ham and oven-roasted turkey breast. I bought the pre-sliced package, so it speeds up the preparation. You can pick whichever meat you like. This meat package is just one of my favorites.
  • Egg: We are using beaten egg to seal pastry edges and have that nice golden finish on top.
  • Salt and Pepper: Adding just a little bit of salt and pepper to the beaten egg.
  • Sesame seeds: I loooove sesame seeds. I like to sprinkle them on top for added texture and flavor.

These are best when you eat them fresh out of the oven or warm. But if you have any leftovers, place them in an air-tight container for up to 2 days. When you want to eat them, just put them in a microwave for 30 seconds.
