Empress gin cocktails are always so fun to make. With the color-changing gin and beautiful layers, you will impress your guests every time!

What You'll Need to Make an Empress Gin Cocktail

Empress gin cocktail ingredients

Key Ingredients:
  • Empress Gin: I used Empress 1908 gin for this empress gin recipe. This gin has a beautiful indigo blue color from the butterfly pea blossom. Some of the ingredients that give this gin a distinctive taste are Fairmont empress tea, juniper, grapefruit peel, coriander seed, cinnamon bark, rose petal, and ginger root.
  • Sparkling Pink Grapefruit juice: I used Fever-Tree sparkling grapefruit juice. I love this brand so much, and I suggest using them for any cocktails you make. They have a great range of mixers which you can use to make dozens of different cocktails.
  • Mango juice: I used Langers organic mango nectar. You can find it at Costco. It has a thicker texture, and it tastes delicious. It’s a great source of vitamin A and C. It’s all natural, and no added colors.
  • Ice: You will need lots of ice for this cocktail.

For example if you add regular soda water the drink will be distinctive blue. If you add tonic water the cocktail will become purple. The cocktail will become red/peach color when you add grapefruit juice.
