What You'll Need to Make a Cherry Smoothie Bowl
Here is the full list of all ingredients needed for this recipe. For precise measurements please look at the recipe card.
Red tart cherries: Rich in nutrients, including fiber, vitamin A, C, K, manganese, potassium, etc. I used frozen cherries for this smoothie recipe.Dark cherries: As red tart cherries, dark cherries are rich in nutrients and antioxidants. Since it's always easier to have frozen fruit on hand, I used frozen dark cherries.Banana: Adding a little bit of natural sugar. Also, a smoothie will have a nice, creamy consistency.Mango chunks: Another excellent fruit for smoothies. It's low in calories yet high in nutrients – especially vitamin C, which aids immunity and iron absorption.Milk: Since I am not following any specific diet, I used whole milk. Usually, that's what I have on hand, but you can substitute it for any other milk you prefer.Maple syrup: This is an optional ingredient. I like this smoothie with or without maple syrup, depending on if I would like it sweeter or not.
